We have had our windows accepted and certified onto the BFRC window energy-rating scheme. When you have your windows built by THF Joinery, not only will you get the best quality windows, you will get top efficiency too.
Whether you require a traditional cottage style window with antique style stays and fasteners, or a more modern storm proof window with espagnolette locking systems - no job is too big or too small, as we can produce anything from single casements to multiple windows.
All of our windows are bespoke and made to order, so we are able to match any existing details from other designs and conform to any planning guidelines you may have.

Timber for windows:
Sapele is used as our standard hardwood when a painted finish is required as it is very durable, virtually knot free, long lasting and takes to paint well.
Popular alternatives include European Oak and American White Oak, or for a cheaper alternative we can use Redwood (Pine).
Further timber options include Idigbo, Iroko and many other options are also available.

All timber is machined and detailed in our own workshop.
Window Ironmongery:
A popular choice of window ironmongery is the black antique cockspur, but we can obtain a wide range of styles and finishes. If required, we will strive to supply an ironmongery to match an existing style within a property.
We can fit traditional stays and fasteners, or alternatively, we can incorporate more modern systems such as friction stays or espagnolette locking systems.
There are hundreds of different styles of hardware available and you can even supply your own if you wish. |
